Ateek: I have been asked to address one basic question, namely, “What is God’s plan for the Palestinians?” Before I directly address this question, it is important to begin by addressing the more general basic question: What is God’s plan for the world and for the human race? and then address What is God’s particular plan for the Jewish people? before finally addressing the question, “What is God’s plan for the Palestinian people.”
