Kumi Now! Rise up Together for Justice
Kumi Now is a amazing initiative from Sabeel Jerusalem and regional partners, working to connect activists around the world with the organizations working on the ground in Palestine/Israel to bring a just and lasting peace based on international law and nonviolence.
Please register to receive weekly newsletters with updates on what is happening in Palestine and the world of Palestine activism. A new Kumi Now entry is posted each Saturday, and a Newsletter is published each Sunday. Online gatherings occur on Tuesdays and replays are available a day or two after the event.

October 1 to 7: Nonviolence in Palestine. October 2 is International Day of Non-Violence.
October 8 to 14: Mental Health. October 10 is World Mental Health Day.
October 15 to 21: Profiting from Occupation. The United Nations condemned the Israeli Apartheid Wall on October 21, 2003.
October 22 to 28: Women in Conflict. The United Nations adopted Resolution 1325 on October 31, 2000.
October 29 to Nov 4: Anti-Muslim and Anti-Islamic Discrimination. November is Islamophobia Awareness Month in the United Kingdom.
November 5 to 11: Antisemitism. November 9 is International Day Against Fascism and Antisemitism across Europe.
November 12 to 18: Children’s Rights. November 20 is Universal Children’s Day.
November 19 to 25: Gender-Based Violence. November 25 is International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
November 26 to December 2: KAIROS Document. November 29 is International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
Advent Begins:
December 3 to 9: Human Rights. The United Nations adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 10, 1948.
December 10 to 16: Right of Return. The United Nations passed Resolution 194 on December 11, 1948.
December 17 to 23: Syrian Golan. Israel passed the Golan Heights Law, effectively annexing the Golan, in 1981.
December 24 to 30: Christians in the Holy Land. The World Council of Churches publishes the Ecumenical Prayer Cycle for Palestine and Israel around this time.
